Why the word overlaps can mislead
Some entries can suggest more than one theme at first. TechRadar’s guide reports that its author initially considered MOLE with crime-related slang and grouped HEEL, FOOT, STEP, and BAR as a possible foot-related set before correcting those guesses. Those are the author’s reported attempts, not a claim about how players generally solve the puzzle.
