What does the N-Ray Scanner do?
Game8’s item guide says the scanner reveals hostiles, wires and objects of interest through walls. In the N-Ray Range, that makes it useful for spotting concealed cultists and tracing wiring to the switches needed for a door puzzle. Game8’s item guide
Game8 also reports that having the scanner active grants a +20% critical chance. That figure is guide-reported and has not been independently confirmed against official game documentation.
How do you get the N-Ray Scanner?

How to use it in the N-Ray Range
- Collect the scanner as you progress through the N-Ray Range sequence.
- Activate it to reveal concealed cultists and points of interest through walls.
- Follow the revealed wiring to identify the switches relevant to the door puzzle.
The scanner is a fictional gadget within the game, not a real-world device sold separately.
