No: March 11 is not established as the launch date for the Cyberpunk 2077 game sequel. The indexed ScreenRant article behind the headline associates that date with a comic issue, while saying the sequel—identified as Project Orion—had no confirmed release window. The comic date is reported by ScreenRant and was not independently confirmed on a Dark Horse product page in the sources reviewed.
What does “Official Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Drops March 11” mean?
The headline is misleading if read as an announcement that the next Cyberpunk 2077 video game launches on March 11. The indexed ScreenRant article identifies the game sequel by its codename, Project Orion, and says it had no confirmed release window at the time of publication. It connects March 11, 2026, to Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome #2, a comic issue—not to the game’s release. ScreenRant article indexed via IMDb

What is confirmed about the game sequel?
The cited article calls the sequel Project Orion and reports that no release window had been confirmed at that time. That is the extent of the release-timing information supported here; it does not establish a current launch date. The sources reviewed also contain no attributable statement from a named CD Projekt representative confirming when the game will arrive.

Dark Horse publishes companion books related to the game’s world. The World of Cyberpunk 2077 is a lore-focused book about Night City and the setting, including its cybernetics, weapons, and characters. Dark Horse’s catalog describes a hardcover edition, making “The World of Cyberpunk 2077 hardcover book” a useful phrase to search for at retailers. Dark Horse book page · Dark Horse digital catalog
This book is companion lore, not the sequel game. The available Dark Horse sources establish the book and its format; they do not confirm the comic issue date reported in the ScreenRant headline.
