Nintendo described the lineup as “latest and upcoming titles.” That wording reflects the announcement’s August 2025 context; it is not a current release-status guide. The company did not give details about booth layout, wait times or how long each demo lasted. Nintendo of Canada’s announcement is the source for the named games and event details.
What did Nintendo offer attendees?
Nintendo said attendees could have an opportunity to receive branded Nintendo Switch 2 merchandise. It also said attendees who checked in with a My Nintendo Account could receive an exclusive digital background by completing a post-event survey. These were described as opportunities with conditions, not guaranteed items for every visitor. The announcement did not establish that the event merchandise was available for purchase.

Was this the same as the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience in Toronto?
No. Nintendo’s Fan Expo Canada announcement concerned its August 2025 convention appearance. The earlier Nintendo Switch 2 Experience was a separate preview tour; Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s corporate report lists Toronto among 15 tour cities and gives the Toronto stop as April 25–27, 2025. The report does not make the events interchangeable: one was a convention appearance, the other a dedicated preview event. Nintendo’s 2025 corporate report records the tour cities and dates.

Its currently indexed gaming page refers to a future edition, so it provides general convention context rather than confirmation of specific 2025 programming.
