When did My Talking Tom Friends 2 come out?
Outfit7 announced the global launch on July 17, 2025. The company had described the game the day before as part of a broader evolution of the Talking Tom & Friends brand, emphasizing refreshed visuals, expanded gameplay and stronger character connections. Those are the publisher’s descriptions, not independent assessments of the game.
At the time of the launch announcement, Outfit7 said its franchise had passed 25 billion downloads and cited 15 years of experience. Those company-reported figures refer to Outfit7’s broader franchise and history, not downloads of My Talking Tom Friends 2 specifically. Outfit7’s July 2025 brand announcement explains that positioning.
What can you do in the game?
The current Google Play listing describes a virtual-pet routine built around caring for five characters: feed and bathe them, play with them, and visit their separate homes. Players can decorate rooms, try activities and mini-games, explore the neighborhood, and earn coins or bonuses toward unlockable items. Fashion, gadgets and toys are among the listed in-game activity categories; these refer to virtual content, not recommendations for physical products.

Launch-era materials also highlighted voiced dialogue, a day-and-night cycle, neighborhood exploration and a bus trip to a Water Park. Outfit7 described the characters as having individualized homes and more distinct voices and identities. Is My Talking Tom Friends 2 free, and does it have ads or purchases?
The game is listed as free to download, but it includes advertising and optional in-app purchases. Google Play says the app may promote Outfit7 products and personalized content; it also notes that purchasable virtual-currency items have prices that vary by player progress. The listing says there are alternative ways to access all app functionalities without spending real money. Apple’s US listing likewise describes a free app with in-app purchases. Is it available on Android and iPhone?
Yes. The game has a Google Play listing for Android and a live Apple App Store listing in the United States. Google Play showed an update dated September 1, 2026, when its listing was accessed on October 8, 2026. Availability, age ratings and device compatibility depend on platform and region; check the relevant store listing for the details that apply to your device.
What does the Google Play data disclosure say?
Google Play’s developer-provided Data safety panel says the app may share location, app information and performance, and device or other IDs with third parties. It says the app may collect financial information, app activity and two other data types; the listing also says data is encrypted in transit and users can request deletion. This is the developer’s store disclosure, not an independent audit. Google Play notes that practices may vary depending on use, region and age.
