Blizzard has revealed Cyber Fuel Junkrat, a digital punk-inspired Mythic skin announced for the midcycle of Overwatch 2 Season 19. The design uses void imagery, and Blizzard says its Mythic form includes explosive visual and sound effects, with further colorways, tire choices, and ambient glow available through customization unlocks.
What is Cyber Fuel Junkrat?
Cyber Fuel Junkrat is the name Blizzard gave to Junkrat’s new Mythic skin for Season 19. The concept turns the explosive hero into a digital rebel, pairing punk defiance with void energy. Blizzard introduced it as a midcycle addition in its Season 19 midcycle announcement.
The reveal’s opening line describes Junkrat as going digital and drifting into the void with a chaotic new Mythic form. That is Blizzard’s promotional framing, rather than a quote from a named developer.
What effects and customization does it include?
Blizzard says unlocking the Mythic form grants explosive visual effects (VFX) and sound effects (SFX). The announcement also identifies additional colorways, tire choices, and ambient glow as customization options to unlock. These are the features Blizzard describes; the announcement does not provide a detailed breakdown of each option or independently document how they appear in gameplay.

How does the Mythic tier system work?
Blizzard’s Season 19 preview describes a tiered approach: Tier 1 unlocks the complete Mythic skin design, while later tiers add customization. For Cyber Fuel Junkrat, that means the core design and the extra choices are framed separately. The announcement does not establish the skin’s current price or shop status.
Can you unlock Cyber Fuel Junkrat now?
The cited announcements place the skin at Season 19’s midcycle but do not confirm whether it is currently available. A Blizzard Mythic Shop guide published on April 16, 2024 says Mythic skins were unlocked with Mythic Prisms and describes featured skins leaving after their season and returning to the shop after two seasons. That guide predates Cyber Fuel Junkrat, so it is historical general guidance—not confirmation of this skin’s present availability, price, or the shop’s current policy. See Blizzard’s Mythic Shop guide for that dated explanation.
