Eligible Xbox Game Pass members can claim six Overwatch 2 skins and a one-time grant of 30 Mythic Prisms. The catch: those rewards are described as permanent, but access to select recent Shop cosmetics and a 10% XP boost lasts only while your Xbox and Battle.net accounts stay linked and you maintain an eligible subscription.
What Overwatch 2 rewards can Game Pass members claim?
Blizzard lists six skins as permanent rewards, alongside a one-time grant of 30 Mythic Prisms:
- Cardboard Reinhardt
- Turtleship D.Va
- Cyberdragon Hanzo
- Street Runner Genji
- Bee Mercy
- Cleric Lifeweaver
Blizzard says the permanent rewards can only be redeemed on Xbox and Battle.net. Blizzard’s announcement and September 17, 2024 update describe the skins as yours to keep and the Mythic Prisms as a one-time grant.
What is the catch?
The offer has two different kinds of benefits. The six named skins and 30 Mythic Prisms are the permanent rewards. Separately, eligible subscribers get access to select Shop cosmetics from the previous three seasons and a 10% XP boost; those ongoing benefits require both an active eligible subscription and linked Xbox and Battle.net accounts.

Who is eligible, and how do you claim the rewards?
Blizzard names Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, and PC Game Pass as eligible plans. To claim the rewards:

Blizzard’s update specifies that the permanent Game Pass rewards can only be redeemed on Xbox and Battle.net; it does not establish that every ongoing benefit has the same platform limitation.
What happens if you cancel Game Pass or unlink the accounts?
The six named skins and one-time Mythic Prisms grant are described as permanent. The select recent Shop cosmetics access and XP boost are different: Blizzard says those rewards remain active only while the accounts stay linked and the subscription remains active on an eligible tier. The offer terms do not establish that ongoing access continues after cancellation or unlinking.

What this offer does—and does not—include
Think of the offer as a permanent set of six skins plus a one-time currency grant, paired with subscription-dependent benefits. The latter cover select Shop cosmetics and the XP boost, not all skins, all recent items, Battle Pass rewards, collaborations, Mythic cosmetics, or other promotional content. Blizzard’s and Xbox Wire’s published descriptions establish these terms, but do not confirm whether plan names or cosmetic selections have changed since their publication.
