Sony said the January lineup would be playable starting January 21, 2025. Its announcement described the classics as enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Sony’s January 15 announcement is the source for the titles, platforms, start date, and features.
Which Indiana Jones game was included?
The Premium classic was Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, a 2009 PlayStation 2 game. It was not Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The latter appears on PlayStation’s dynamic catalog page, but that does not make it part of Sony’s January 2025 announcement. PlayStation’s A–Z catalog is a changing listing, so it should not be used to relabel that historical addition.
#1 Best Overall
- Feel your journey through the Norse realms, made possible by immersive haptic feedback and adaptive trigger functionality.
- Take advantage of multidirectional 3D Audio; hear enemies approaching from any direction. (3D audio with stereo headphones (analog or USB))
- Bask in the beautiful worlds you travel through, brought to life by precise art direction and arresting attention to detail.
- Switch between full 4K resolution at a targeted 30 frames per second, or dynamic resolution upscaled to 4K at a targeted 60fps. (4K resolution requires a compatible 4K TV or display)
What the announcement means for subscribers
Extra and Premium members were the tiers named for the nine Game Catalog games, while the two classics were specifically presented as Premium additions. Sony describes Essential, Extra, and Premium as plans with different benefits; Deluxe is offered in markets where Premium is unavailable. Plan names and benefits vary by market and can change, so check Sony’s PlayStation Plus overview for your region.
Game Catalog access is a subscription benefit, not permanent ownership of a game. Sony also warned that catalog lineups may differ by region and advised checking the PlayStation Store on release day. For a game you want to keep independently of catalog availability, a separate purchase is an option; it is not required to access an included catalog game.

Is this still the current PS Plus lineup?
No current-October-2026 availability is established here. This is a January 2025 lineup announcement, not a live catalog listing. Sony confirmed in a March 14, 2025 post that God of War Ragnarök was then available through Extra and Premium, with a regional caveat; that dated confirmation does not establish its availability now. Sony’s March 2025 post is evidence of its status at that time only.
