The North America International Championships (NAIC) took place in New Orleans as the third and final International Championships event of the 2024 Championship Series season. Pokémon GO battles streamed on Twitch.tv/PokemonGO from Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9, 2024. The published schedule used Pacific Daylight Time and described its times as approximate and subject to change.

The research offered an opportunity to encounter MEWeedle’s Altaria, the Pokémon belonging to the Europe International Championships winner. The Drop was a code for research—not an immediate or guaranteed Altaria encounter.
How did viewers claim the NAIC Drop?
The steps below explain the general Pokémon Twitch Drops process; they do not mean the 2024 NAIC campaign is still active. Pokémon’s Twitch Drops guidance describes linking accounts, watching an eligible stream, claiming the Drop, and retrieving its code from Pokémon Rewards.

- Link accounts: Connect the Pokémon Trainer Central account associated with your Pokémon GO account to Twitch.
- Watch an eligible stream: Watch the Drops-enabled stream until the required viewing progress is complete. For the NAIC promotion, the announced threshold was 30 minutes.
- Claim the Drop on Twitch: Claim it through Twitch when it becomes available. Pokémon’s Twitch giveaway extension instructions explain the general claim process.
- Retrieve the code: Return to Pokémon Rewards, open your inventory, and select “Show Code.”
- Redeem the code: Use the Pokémon GO offer-code page and sign in with the credentials for the Pokémon GO account that should receive the offer. Enter the code to redeem it.
Can you still get the 2024 NAIC Twitch Drop?
The viewing dates ended on June 9, 2024. The official event announcement and current general Drops instructions do not establish that a code for this specific campaign—or its Timed Research—can still be claimed. Do not assume that linking accounts or following today’s general instructions will reopen the promotion. Check official Pokémon GO channels for any currently announced offers.

The Pokémon Rewards portal currently says web offer-code redemption for Pokémon GO is unavailable when signing in with Pokémon Trainer Club, unless another login provider is linked to the account and used to sign in. This is a current web redemption limitation, separate from whether the expired NAIC offer remains available.
