You can change your character’s hairstyle and hair colour at salons in Lumiose City in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The salon features confirmed by the official game announcement include solid hair colours, colour blocking, balayage, eyebrow changes and other appearance options. The announcement does not give a complete list of styles or salon addresses.
Where can you change your hairstyle in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?
Visit a salon in Lumiose City to adjust your player character’s hairstyle and other aspects of their appearance. The Pokémon Company International’s official style announcement says players can change “your hairstyle, hair colour, eyebrows, and more at salons.” It identifies the location at the city level, rather than giving an exact address.
What hair and appearance options are confirmed?
- Hairstyle: Change your character’s hair style. The official announcement does not publish a complete catalogue or name every available style.
- Hair colour: The announcement confirms solid colours.
- Colour treatments: Colour blocking and balayage are also confirmed.
- Other appearance settings: Eyebrows and additional looks can be changed at salons.
To compare choices in the game, consider the hairstyle silhouette, its base colour and whether you want a treatment such as colour blocking or balayage. Those are useful ways to sort the confirmed customization options, not a complete list of menu entries.
When does the Outfit & Looks menu become available?
The Pokémon Company International’s September 12, 2025 DLC information page says players can readjust their outfit and looks after approximately one hour of play. That is an approximate access time for Outfit & Looks, not a guarantee that every salon service unlocks at exactly that point.

Are Furfrou trims player hairstyles?
No. Furfrou grooming is a separate Pokémon-specific feature at a specialty shop, not a player-character salon option. The shop’s Scyther learns more difficult Furfrou styles through practice; those trims should not be confused with the hairstyles available for your character.
