It was a merchandise bundle, not the same offer as retailer-specific preorder gifts or a separate Nintendo Switch 2 hardware package.
What was in the Mega Evolution Bundle?
Video Games Chronicle’s preorder guide reported that the Mega Evolution Bundle included a copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, figures of Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, and pins featuring the game’s starter Pokémon. The report discussed Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 editions, but the exact platform and offer depended on the listing and seller.
These were reported bundle contents, not a universal set of items included with every copy of the game. The guide does not establish current stock, pricing, or bonus eligibility.
How did the other merchandise bundles differ?
The reported bundles grouped different merchandise. Their names and contents help distinguish them, but do not establish that every retailer offered every bundle or edition.

How are retailer preorder gifts and the Switch 2 hardware bundle different?
Retailer-specific preorder gifts
Video Games Chronicle’s guide listed preorder offers that varied by retailer and region. A gift advertised by one seller should not be assumed to come with purchases from another seller, or to apply in another country. Check the retailer’s own listing for the region, edition, and purchase conditions before relying on an old offer description.
Nintendo Switch 2 hardware package
Nintendo Life separately reported a Nintendo Switch 2 hardware bundle that included the console and a download code for the game. That is a console-and-game package, not the Mega Evolution Bundle’s collectibles. A game download code in a hardware package also does not, by itself, establish that the figures, pins, or other merchandise are included.
