Black Myth: Wukong’s Pungent Flesh Chunk is a Legendary Key Item used to lure out the First Prince of the Flowing Sands. To obtain it, defeat the King of Flowing Sands before the Second Prince, then use the chunk at the cliff prompt near the Valley of Despair. If you defeat the Second Prince first, the King can escape and lead into the First Prince encounter without the item.
What the Pungent Flesh Chunk does
The Pungent Flesh Chunk is a Legendary Key Item. Its description says its smell may lure some yaoguais, and its specific purpose is to draw out the First Prince of the Flowing Sands. The in-game description also includes the line “Children’s incapacity, parents’ anxiety.” (item reference)
How to get the Pungent Flesh Chunk
- In the encounter with the King of Flowing Sands and the Second Prince, defeat the King first.
- Then defeat the Second Prince. The Pungent Flesh Chunk is tied to this outcome; the item reference and walkthroughs describe this boss order (item reference; item guide).
Order matters: If you defeat the Second Prince before the King, the King can flee, and you will not obtain the item through the King-first outcome.
Where to use it
Go to the cliff prompt near the Valley of Despair and interact with it to use the Pungent Flesh Chunk. This brings out the First Prince of the Flowing Sands (Game8 guide; Game8 walkthrough).
