PUBG Mobile’s React: Survival Mode was reported as arriving on December 20, 2021, with a Red Light/Green Light-style race against a pink rabbit. Players had to reach the finish line before time ran out and stop moving when the rabbit turned to watch. Although coverage compared the challenge with Squid Game, the sources reviewed do not establish an official PUBG MOBILE–Netflix collaboration.
How React: Survival Mode worked
In Pocket Gamer’s December 20, 2021 description, players moved toward a finish line while music played and the Evil Rabbit had its back turned. When the music stopped and the rabbit looked toward the players, anyone who moved was eliminated. Players also had a limited time to reach the finish line. Pocket Gamer’s report also mentioned the Avalanche X-Suit winter item appearing alongside the mode.
The premise resembles the stop-and-go challenge associated with Squid Game, which explains the comparison in contemporary coverage. That resemblance is not evidence of a licensed crossover: the reviewed sources do not verify a formal collaboration.
When it arrived and how players accessed it
InsideSport reported on December 16, 2021, that the mode would arrive on December 20. Its article reproduces a teaser attributed to the PUBG MOBILE account: “Get ready for the upcoming React Survival Mode! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES FROM THE EVIL RABBIT & SURVIVE”. InsideSport’s report is the source for that reproduced wording and date.

BlueStacks’ contemporaneous coverage said players could select the mode through Create Room and play with friends. This is historical access guidance, not confirmation that the mode can still be selected in current versions or in every region. BlueStacks’ report describes that room access.
Is React: Survival Mode still available?
The available reports establish historical coverage of the mode, not its present-day status. They do not provide a current official notice or verify that React: Survival Mode is available in today’s PUBG MOBILE client. Check the in-game mode list or a current official announcement for your version and region; the 2021 reports alone cannot confirm access now.

PUBG MOBILE’s official Version 1.7 announcement, dated November 15, 2021, lists Mirror World and other modes but does not mention React: Survival Mode. That update page documents the contents of Version 1.7; its omission neither confirms nor disproves a later limited-time mode. Read the official Version 1.7 announcement.
The reports concern PUBG MOBILE in 2021. They do not establish current availability by region or in BGMI.
