Atari 50: The Namco Legendary Pack was released on November 13, 2025. The paid add-on brings Atari-related versions of PAC-MAN, GALAGA, GALAXIAN, DIG DUG and XEVIOUS to Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, alongside interviews and archival material. On Nintendo Switch, it is digital DLC that requires the base game.
What games are in the Atari 50 Namco Legendary Pack?
The pack pairs a historical timeline with a collection of Namco games released on Atari hardware. Nintendo’s listing names several versions of PAC-MAN, GALAGA, GALAXIAN, DIG DUG and XEVIOUS, as well as video interviews and archival material. Atari describes the pack as exploring “the history of Namco titles on Atari hardware.”
PAC-MAN
The collection includes PAC-MAN 2600, PAC-MAN 5200 and PAC-MAN for Atari 8-bit computers. Nintendo identifies these three Atari versions as receiving their first console re-release in this collection.
GALAGA, GALAXIAN, DIG DUG and XEVIOUS
The pack also includes home-console versions of GALAGA, GALAXIAN, DIG DUG and XEVIOUS. Nintendo specifically lists the U.S. arcade versions of DIG DUG and XEVIOUS as part of the collection. The listing does not provide a complete version-by-version breakdown for every title.

Release date and platforms
The expansion launched on November 13, 2025, according to the Nintendo and Steam listings. Nintendo presents it as digital content for Switch; Steam also lists the pack. Availability, storefront pricing and requirements may vary by platform and region, so check the listing for the version you intend to buy.
Does the Namco pack require Atari 50?
Yes, on Nintendo Switch. Nintendo’s U.S. listing says the content requires Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. The pack is therefore an add-on, not a standalone game.

Atari separately sells a physical Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration – Expanded Edition. Atari describes that base collection as including more than 100 playable classics and six entirely new titles. The available product listings do not establish that this physical edition includes the Namco DLC. Before buying, check the edition and platform listing; do not assume the physical base game includes the add-on.

Nintendo’s U.S. bundle page lists the standalone Namco pack at a regular price of $7.99. That is a U.S. Nintendo storefront price, not a guaranteed price for other regions or stores; check your local listing for current cost and availability. Steam lists a euro-denominated price, which may differ by region and can change.

Which purchase makes sense?
- You already own Atari 50: Look for the Namco Legendary Pack on your platform’s storefront and confirm the listing matches your base-game platform.
- You do not own Atari 50: Compare the standalone base game plus DLC with Nintendo’s Game + DLC Bundle, or consider the physical Expanded Edition as the base collection. Confirm separately whether the Namco add-on is included; the product pages reviewed do not show it bundled with that physical edition.
