Pest Threads is a Servants of Rot incantation in ELDEN RING that launches sticky threads toward targets. To buy it, give Millicent the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis, then speak to Sage Gowry at his shack in Caelid. The spell costs 7,500 runes.
What does Pest Threads do?
The in-game description says it “Launches countless sticky threads before caster.” The threads seek targets, according to Game8’s guide; their behavior can make the spell worth trying against large enemies, but that is guide advice rather than an official performance guarantee. Game8’s Pest Threads guide
Pest Threads is an incantation in the Servants of Rot group. It uses one memory slot and costs 19 FP per cast. The game’s minimum stat requirement is 11 Faith.
How to get Pest Threads
- Travel to Sage Gowry’s shack in Caelid and speak with Gowry.
- Progress Millicent’s quest until you can give her the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis, then give her the prosthesis.
- Return to Gowry and buy Pest Threads for 7,500 runes.
The sale unlocks at that Millicent quest milestone; completing her entire questline is not required for this purchase. Game8’s guide and the Elden Ring Wiki entry list the prosthesis handoff as the condition.
