AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 24.7.1, released July 19, 2024, adds Radeon Anti-Lag 2 support for Dota 2 when the game uses DirectX 11, and lists Zenless Zone Zero and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess as newly supported games. AMD also reports performance gains for Kunitsu-Gami, but those figures are vendor test results—not independent benchmarks. This is a historical Windows driver release, not a statement of which driver is current in 2026.
What AMD Adrenalin 24.7.1 adds
AMD’s July 19, 2024 release notes identify two new games and one game-specific feature addition:
- New game support: Zenless Zone Zero and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. AMD does not attach a performance-uplift figure to Zenless Zone Zero.
- Radeon Anti-Lag 2 in Dota 2: support is for the DirectX 11 API.
- Expanded HYPR-Tune support: Gray Zone Warfare, Lords of the Fallen, RoboCop: Rogue City and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
Does Radeon Anti-Lag 2 work in Dota 2?
Yes, but the release notes specify DirectX 11. AMD states, “Anti-Lag 2 currently supports Dota 2 while using the DirectX® 11 API.” It describes the feature as adding “an in-game option to optimally pace frames,” intended to further reduce input lag on AMD RDNA architecture-based discrete and integrated graphics products. That is AMD’s description of the feature’s purpose, not a measured latency result for every system.
How to use the latency monitor
AMD’s notes say that with Anti-Lag 2 enabled, Alt+Shift+L activates the latency monitor and cycles through its display options. Hold right Ctrl to compare Anti-Lag 2 on with it off.

AMD’s Kunitsu-Gami performance figures
AMD reports the following maximum performance increases in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess at 4K, comparing Adrenalin 24.7.1 with 24.6.1. These are AMD’s own results, not independent validation; “up to” does not guarantee the same gain on another system.
| Graphics card | AMD-reported increase | Comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Radeon RX 7900 XTX | Up to 16% at 4K | 24.7.1 versus 24.6.1 |
| Radeon RX 7800 XT | Up to 12% at 4K | 24.7.1 versus 24.6.1 |
| Radeon RX 7600 XT | Up to 12% at 4K | 24.7.1 versus 24.6.1 |
For the RX 7900 XTX result, AMD’s test note RS-663 specifies testing on July 16, 2024, with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32 GB DDR5, an RX 7900 XTX and Windows 11 Pro. The release page’s stated configuration detail is attached to that result; it does not establish that the RX 7800 XT and RX 7600 XT figures used the exact same system configuration.

What issues does Adrenalin 24.7.1 address?
AMD lists stutter improvements in two cases:
- When Radeon Anti-Lag and FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 frame generation are enabled.
- In Fortnite using DirectX 12.
The release notes do not promise that these changes eliminate stutter on every configuration.
Known issues and caveats
AMD’s notes also retain known issues, so installing the driver is not risk-free. Listed problems include:

Windows compatibility and release status
AMD labels 24.7.1 for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 and says administrator rights are required for installation. It is not intended for Radeon products running in Apple Boot Camp. The release notes document a 2024 package; they do not establish whether 24.7.1 is still available, recommended or current in October 2026. Later releases may supersede its support and issue information.
