Predator Cores drop from Predator Pals. In Palworld v1.0, those Pals no longer appear at fixed locations; Pocketpair says they spawn at a low rate across the whole map. Roam and watch for the red-aura variant rather than relying on a coordinate or a location map.
Where to find Predator Pals
There is no dependable fixed Predator Pal location under the current spawn rule. Pocketpair’s v1.0 release changelog, published July 9, 2026, says Predator Pals “no longer appear at fixed locations” and “now spawn at a low rate across the whole map.” Travel through the world and check ordinary Pal spawns for the Predator variant; repeatedly camping one coordinate is not supported by that guidance.
The map-wide rule does not establish an exact spawn probability, a guaranteed respawn cycle, or that every newer region has confirmed Predator spawns. Treat precise-coordinate lists as potentially outdated rather than guaranteed routes.
How to recognize and defeat one
A guide updated August 13, 2026, and verified for v1.0.3 describes Predator Pals as having glowing red eyes and a red aura. It also reports a low-pitched hum nearby, which can be a secondary cue while exploring. The same guide says Predator Pals cannot be captured, so defeat one to obtain its drop.

The in-game item description reproduced by the guide reads: “Core dropped by Predator Pals. It is filled with mysterious energy.”
How many Predator Cores does a Predator Pal drop?
The v1.0.3 guide reports a yield of one to four cores per kill, but this is a guide-reported range, not a guaranteed or officially confirmed amount. PalDB’s check dated August 20, 2026, says the game data it reviewed does not state a core drop quantity or rate. Plan around finding and defeating Predator Pals, not a fixed number of cores from each kill.

What Predator Cores are used for
Predator Cores are crafting materials for permanent stat Remedies and Elixirs. The item reference lists recipes for Burden, Might, Speed, Stamina, and Vital. Each Remedy uses one Predator Core and a small Lotus; each Elixir uses two Predator Cores and a large Lotus. The item reference also says cores cannot be crafted or bought from merchants.

Practical farming approach
- Roam through the world instead of traveling to a supposed guaranteed Predator Pal coordinate.
- Check ordinary Pal spawns for glowing red eyes and a red aura; listen for the reported low hum as an additional cue.
- Defeat the Predator Pal and collect its drop. Do not assume every kill gives the same number of cores.
- Keep the cores for the Remedy or Elixir recipe you want, and gather the corresponding Lotus material.
