At Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis’s Caina B14 gatekeeper fight, defeat Judgment Sword first: it is weak to Wind, while Harmony Giant has no weakness and repels Wind and Electric. After the sword falls, use strong attacks that avoid the Giant’s Strike immunity and its Wind and Electric repel affinities.

Which Harmony Giant fight does this guide cover?

This is the paired boss encounter with Judgment Sword at Caina B14 in Episode Aigis, the expansion’s new story scenario. Harmony Giant also appears as a recurring Shadow in the main game’s Adamah block; this guide is not about that separate encounter. The official Persona 3 Reload expansion information describes Episode Aigis as part of the Expansion Pass, and Atlus’ Japanese expansion page says the latest patch for Persona 3 Reload is required to access expansion content. The base game alone should not be assumed to include Episode Aigis.

What are the enemies’ weaknesses and resistances?

Enemy Weakness Affinities to avoid Battle role
Judgment Sword Wind Immune to Pierce; absorbs Electric; repels Slash Wind-weak target that adds multi-hit physical pressure
Harmony Giant None Immune to Strike; repels Electric and Wind Buffs the sword, deals electric damage, and may lower party defense

These encounter affinities are reported by Neoseeker’s Caina walkthrough and Game8’s boss guide. A weakness hit is not automatically safe: Judgment Sword has Dodge Wind, so accuracy support can make Wind attacks more dependable.

How do you beat Harmony Giant and Judgment Sword?

  1. Prepare before entering. Game8 recommends level 45 or higher for this encounter; that is a guide recommendation, not an official minimum or guarantee. If convenient, enter with Theurgies charged, as suggested by the GameFAQs walkthrough.
  2. Manage the sword’s accuracy buff. Harmony Giant uses Sukukaja on Judgment Sword. Use Sukunda on the sword if available, or dispel Sukukaja when it lands, as the Game8 and GameFAQs guides advise.
  3. Exploit Judgment Sword’s Wind weakness. Once accuracy is under control, attack with Wind. Avoid Pierce, Electric, and Slash against it because of its listed affinities.
  4. Keep pressure on the sword until it is defeated. Its Blade of Fury and Tempest Slash deliver multi-hit physical attacks, so removing it first reduces incoming pressure. Keep recovery available while the Giant attacks with Zionga or Mazionga and may use Marakunda to lower party defense.
  5. Finish the Giant with suitable non-Strike attacks. Once Judgment Sword is down, use your strongest available damage that is not Strike, Electric, or Wind. Slash, Pierce, or Almighty can be options if your particular attack is not otherwise blocked by a relevant affinity.

Which party members or Personas are useful?

Game8 presents Ken as a support option to avoid Yukari’s Electric vulnerability in this fight, and notes that Aigis or Metis can provide Wind attacks against Judgment Sword. It also discusses Quetzalcoatl and Cu Chulainn as Persona options. These are possible team-building choices, not required party members or a guaranteed winning setup; prioritize having a reliable Wind attacker, accuracy management, and recovery.
