PlayStation’s announced schedule ran from March 25 through April 22, 2026, with discounted PS5 and PS4 games. The official announcement does not substantiate the headline’s specific “$70 games” or “up to 90% off” claims, so those figures should not be treated as verified sale terms.
Is the PlayStation Store Spring Sale still on?
No. The 2026 promotion ended on April 22, 2026. PlayStation announced the sale on March 24 and updated its post on April 8 with additional games. Its Spring Sale announcement gives the promotion dates as March 25 through April 22.

What did the 2026 sale include?
PlayStation described discounts on a wide variety of PS5 and PS4 games, with more titles added during the promotion. The announcement does not provide a complete, archived price list in the material available here, so it cannot establish which individual games were discounted or their sale prices.
Were $70 games discounted by up to 90%?
Those exact figures are not verified by the official announcement. The retrieved excerpt confirms a sale but does not substantiate either a $70 starting price or a maximum discount of 90%. A contemporary Tom’s Guide report provides context about low-priced PS5 deals, but its available excerpt also does not confirm that exact combination of claims.

- Redeem for anything on PlayStationStore: games, add-ons, PlayStationPlus and more.
- Everything you want to play. Choose from the largest library of PlayStation content.
- Use gift card funds to contribute towards PlayStationPlus memberships.
The current US PlayStation Store sale category is not an archive of the Spring Sale. Its changing offers cannot be used to infer the 2026 promotion’s prices. For example, current storefront listings are evidence only of how the Store presents later offers, not of what a game cost during the Spring Sale.
Why could offers differ between players?
PlayStation says sale selection may vary by region, and that individual games may have different offer periods. The listed campaign dates therefore do not guarantee that every title was discounted in every country for the full period.

When checking a specific deal, use the product page in your own regional Store and compare the details that apply to that listing:
- Platform and edition, including whether the listing is for PS4, PS5, or a cross-generation bundle.
- Displayed sale price and the regular price shown alongside it.
- Region and currency for the Store account making the purchase.
- The individual title’s offer end date.
- Whether the offer is a digital license or a physical edition sold elsewhere.
These are practical comparison checks; the Store announcement specifically confirms regional variation and title-specific offer periods. It does not establish a complete historical list of the Spring Sale’s prices or editions.

How to find PlayStation Store deals now
The ended Spring Sale should not be confused with offers currently shown in the Store. Check the US Store sale category or the equivalent storefront for your region, then open the game’s product page to confirm its current price and offer end date. Current listings belong to whichever promotion is active now, not the Spring Sale that ran in March and April 2026.
