To start President Tanaka’s Devil Social Link in Persona 3 Reload, reach Hermit Rank 4, raise Charm to Rank 4 (Smooth), and bring ¥20,000 to your first meeting. The route requires ¥40,000 total across three nighttime meetings: ¥20,000 first, then ¥10,000 at each of the next two meetings.
How to unlock Tanaka’s Devil Social Link
- Reach Hermit Rank 4. This introduces Tanaka as a contact for the Devil route, according to Neoseeker’s Social Links Information Guide.
- Raise Charm to Rank 4, or Smooth. Tanaka will not engage with you before you meet this requirement, as listed by Game8’s Social Link guide and its Tanaka-specific guide.
- Bring ¥20,000 to the first meeting. The remaining two meetings each require ¥10,000, for a total of ¥40,000 over three meetings.
Where and when to find President Tanaka
Look for Tanaka at Paulownia Mall at night. Game8 lists Tuesday and Saturday; Neoseeker’s Devil guide lists Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Since the published schedules differ, treat Tuesday and Saturday as the shared availability and check the in-game schedule before planning around another night.
