Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic has a puzzle-guide directory covering nine chapters, room routes, codes, collectibles, and endings. Use the chapter map below to find the right walkthrough; where only a puzzle name or clue category is documented, this guide says so rather than guessing a code or sequence.
The game is a single-player horror adventure by Steel Wool Studios, published by ScottGames and released June 13, 2025. You explore Murray’s Costume Manor, investigate Edwin Murray’s unfinished work, and evade the Mimic, a prototype endoskeleton that adapts to costumes. Steam’s game listing describes the title and its premise.
Where to find the puzzle or walkthrough you need
Start with the room or objective that stopped your progress. The guide directory separates the story walkthrough into nine chapters and maintains additional sections for maps and routes, puzzles and codes, collectibles, and endings. Its chapter and puzzle names are useful navigation; they are not, by themselves, verified solution instructions.
- Need story context or the next transition? Open the relevant chapter walkthrough.
- Lost in a room or chase? Use the maps and route coverage for the area.
- Stuck at a keypad or mechanism? Find the named puzzle entry below, then inspect the in-game clue before entering an answer.
- Looking for optional items or outcomes? Use the presents and endings sections rather than interrupting the main route.
The directory lists 25 presents and three ending routes. Those are the guide’s documented coverage counts; consult its current pages and the game itself for collection and ending requirements.

Big Top Showroom
The directory calls out a mannequin puzzle and a conduit puzzle. For the conduit mechanism, an official Steam update documents a lever-state/display fix affecting the puzzle after returning from Storytime Showroom. If the levers appear inconsistent with their state, update the game, revisit the room, and follow the current in-game clues rather than relying on an old walkthrough image. Steam’s announcement archive contains the patch note.

The guide index identifies door-code puzzles and a cake mechanism. Check the room’s instructions and environmental clues for the current answer; the index does not confirm a code or interaction order.
Data Diver clearance route
A Data Diver clearance route is listed as a distinct progression guide. Use the relevant chapter walkthrough if you have not yet reached the clearance objective, since a puzzle page alone may omit the preceding route or prerequisite.

Moon.exe
Moon.exe has its own puzzle entry in the index. The directory does not establish its full solution here, so use the in-game prompts and current walkthrough page for the specific sequence.
Power Room
The Power Room generator is listed as a separate machine puzzle. Follow the machine’s clues and consult the matching walkthrough for the interaction sequence; no verified sequence is provided by the directory listing.

- Confirm the room and objective. Match the room name and the immediate task to the chapter walkthrough so you do not mistake a prerequisite for the puzzle itself.
- Read the clue in the current build. Check signs, notes, displays, and machine feedback before using an old code list; the game has received puzzle-related updates.
- Use a hint first, then a full sequence. If a guide offers both, stop at the clue when you want to preserve discovery. Only use exact inputs after confirming the solution applies to your room and current game state.
- After solving, follow the chapter route. Return to the walkthrough for the exit, next objective, or transition; solving a mechanism may not itself complete the chapter.
The index identifies keypads, machine rules, changing answers, and Moon.exe, but does not establish which answers are randomized or provide exact code values. Do not treat a code shown in an unrelated room or an older guide as universal.

Check for updates if a puzzle state seems wrong
In its Steam announcement archive, the developer documented a Big Top Showroom conduit puzzle fix for the lever state after returning from Storytime Showroom. That is a specific patched behavior, not proof that every puzzle issue is a bug. Check for a game update, make sure you are following the clue for the correct room and progression state, and then retry the interaction.
Platforms and VR context
Puzzle guidance is useful whether or not you play in VR. Sony’s PlayStation listing identifies PS5 and says PlayStation VR2 is optional; it also lists one-player and offline play. Nintendo’s US store lists a digital Switch version and Switch 2 compatibility. Platform listings can vary by region and change over time, so check the storefront for your edition.
For the Steam PC edition, the listing gives minimum requirements of Windows 10/11, Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel i5-8400, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1070 8GB or RX Vega 56 8GB, and 20 GB available storage. Steam lists Valve Index and Meta Quest 2/3/Pro through SteamVR and Steam Link among the VR configurations. These are Steam’s listed PC requirements and configurations, not requirements for console versions.
