- The four answers begin with F, S, E, and R, in that order.
- One answer is a word for a visible glow or burning mass; another can mean to make an angry or displeased expression.
- The remaining two can refer to a small piece of burning material and a person or thing that roams.

Daily Sequence answers are different
If you are playing Daily Sequence rather than the standard four-grid Quordle, its reported answers for game #1433 are:
- CHAFE
- CLOCK
- SCARF
- PUREE
These belong to the separate Daily Sequence mode, not the standard puzzle answer set above.

Why the date includes a year
The matching Saturday, December 27 entry is from 2025 and is identified as game #1433 by TechRadar and Yahoo’s syndicated report; an answer archive lists the same date and solutions. Quordle’s daily reset is reported to happen at midnight in the player’s local time, so the displayed puzzle date can vary by time zone.

In a 2023 explanation, Forbes described Quordle as asking players to solve four five-letter words at once in nine guesses. Green feedback marks a letter in the correct position; yellow means the letter appears in the word but is in a different position. That is dated secondary background, so check the game itself for current rules.
