What is StockRise?
StockRise is a Roblox experience listed as “StockRise: Stock Simulator.” Its Roblox listing describes a virtual portfolio, stock-market investing and cryptocurrency trading at real-time prices, with trading available on a trading floor or in an office. The page currently states, “There are currently no running experiences.” That status can change, so check the listing for the latest availability.
PiP World described the game as a paper-trading experience for stocks and cryptocurrencies. Paper trading means practicing simulated trades with virtual funds; it does not establish real-world investment results or financial-literacy gains.
Who bought StockRise, and what were the deal terms?
GamesBeat reported on August 7, 2024, that Dubai-based PiP World acquired StockRise. The report did not disclose the purchase price. It also said StockRise developer Dale Berkove would join PiP World’s advisory board. Berkove said in his announcement-period LinkedIn post that he would serve as an advisor and continue developing StockRise with the team.

Why did PiP World acquire the game?
PiP World framed the acquisition as part of a broader social-gaming and financial-education ecosystem. In the acquisition coverage, it described PiP Trader as a trading-strategy simulator and PiP Academy as a gamified learning product. Those descriptions explain the company’s stated direction; they do not confirm that every announced plan or upgrade was completed.
PiP World CEO Saad Bachir Al Naja said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Dale and the StockRise community into the PiP World ecosystem. We’re mutually aligned on helping our communities make strides towards financial freedom through better-informed trading,” as quoted by GamesBeat in its August 7, 2024 report.

How popular was StockRise?
PiP World’s 2024 announcement reported more than seven million plays and over 250,000 monthly active users. These are historical company-reported figures, not current verified counts. GamesBeat’s August 7, 2024 coverage separately reported seven million visits, 20,000 likes and a 10.9-minute average session time, compared with 8.2 minutes for the genre. Those figures are attributed to GamesBeat’s reporting at the time and should not be read as present-day metrics.
