If PICO PARK 2 is lagging during online co-op on your Windows PC, there is no confirmed one-size-fits-all fix. Start by updating the game and testing another in-game region—steps a TECOPARK developer suggested for a particular connection-error report in October 2024. Then use the checks below to narrow down whether the problem is tied to your PC, network, or the session. General troubleshooting steps are diagnostic suggestions, not verified PICO PARK 2-specific cures.
1. Make sure the game is up to date
In a Steam discussion about a connection error, a TECOPARK developer advised the player to install the latest version. That advice was given in October 2024 for a specific report; the version mentioned in that thread is historical, not a statement of the current version.

In Steam, check PICO PARK 2’s update status and install any available update before testing multiplayer again. The developer did not identify the cause of the reported error, so an update is a reasonable first check rather than a guaranteed fix. Read the Steam discussion.
2. Test a different in-game region
In the same discussion, the developer asked the player to change the game’s region and see whether the connection error occurred in every region. Try another available region and compare the result with the one you normally use.

This was a diagnostic suggestion for that player’s connection error. It does not establish that region selection fixes every kind of multiplayer lag or that a particular region is best for all players.
3. Check your PC against Steam’s requirements
Steam lists these Windows specifications for PICO PARK 2. The requirements are useful for identifying a possible performance constraint, but meeting them does not rule out an internet or session problem.

4. Compare online co-op with local play
PICO PARK 2 supports online co-op as well as shared/split-screen co-op, according to Steam. If practical, compare an online session with local play. If the problem appears only online, that points toward investigating the connection or online session; if it also occurs locally, check PC performance and system activity too.

This comparison can help isolate the symptom, but it is a diagnostic inference—not a developer-confirmed remedy.
5. Compare Wi-Fi with an available wired connection
If you already have access to an Ethernet cable, try connecting the PC to the router by cable and retest. Compare the same kind of session under Wi-Fi and wired conditions, where possible. Do not buy equipment on the assumption that Ethernet is a proven fix: the available PICO PARK 2 sources do not establish that it cures this game’s lag.

6. Find out whether lag affects one player or everyone
Ask the other players whether they see the same slowdown at the same time. If only your PC seems affected, focus first on your connection and computer. If everyone experiences it together, note that pattern when you test another region or contact support. This is a practical way to describe the problem; the available sources do not document a game-specific diagnostic procedure for it.

Quit applications you do not need, especially other downloads or activity that is using substantial system or network resources, then try the same multiplayer setup again. Change one thing at a time so you can tell whether the symptom changes. This is general PC troubleshooting; the available sources do not verify that background apps cause PICO PARK 2 multiplayer lag.

8. Send TECOPARK support useful details
If the checks do not resolve the problem, Steam lists TECOPARK’s support email as [email protected]. Include enough information to make the issue reproducible:
- Your game version as shown in Steam.
- The in-game region you used and whether another region changed the result.
- Whether the problem affects only you or the whole session.
- Your PC specifications, including Windows version, processor, and RAM.
- Whether you were playing online or locally, and whether you were on Wi-Fi or a wired connection.
Steam’s support listing provides the contact address; it does not state a response time or guarantee a resolution.
