The index checked lists Patch 1.5.6 first, followed by Patch 1.5.3 and Hotfix 1.5.2. That describes the ordering in the official support index, not a guarantee that every platform has the same build available at the same time. For platform-specific availability, check the current version information for your PC, PlayStation or Xbox copy.

- Controller support: Steam Controller support was added.
- Handheld controls: A fix addresses cases where the game remained on the Xbox control scheme while played on a handheld with a mouse and keyboard attached.
- Hardcore mode: A user-experience fix addresses confirming disadvantage selection without choosing the required number of perks.
- Encounter: A peculiar jester may sometimes appear in front of the Hangman’s Halter Tavern.
- Quest: A fix addresses a recruitment requirement involving Mikesh or Kozliek after the player has visited the Mysteria Ecclesiae monastery following their deaths.
- Credits: The credits were updated.
How Patch 1.5 differs from Patch 1.5.6
Patch 1.5 was a broader update whose announcement describes improvements to combat, daily life, quests and DLC. One concrete quality-of-life change lets players select blacksmithing materials directly from the shared stash or the horse’s inventory. The Patch 1.5 announcement gives the fuller list of changes for that release; its scope should not be attributed to Patch 1.5.6.
When comparing entries in the archive, use the version, platform applicability and change category—such as features, controls, quests, balance, stability or DLC. A hotfix and a numbered feature update can have different scopes; the version label alone does not tell you what changed.
