Q*bert: Rebooted pairs the original arcade game with a redesigned mode that replaces its familiar cube pyramid with hexagons. The package’s two-mode setup gives players both a version of the classic and a new action game, but the redesign and its reception are distinct questions—and present-day access depends on the platform and store.
What is different in Q*bert: Rebooted?
The game is a two-part package rather than a replacement for the original. It includes Classic Arcade and Q*Bert Rebooted, a redesigned action mode. PlayStation’s store description likewise presents the original arcade game alongside a new action version.
Classic Arcade
Classic Arcade is the package’s return to the original game. Its familiar cube-based playfield and arcade presentation contrast with the reboot’s visual redesign.
Q*Bert Rebooted
The most visible change is the board. In a February 6, 2015 PlayStation Blog announcement, LOOT Entertainment’s Jason Sorensen put it simply: “Instead of cubes, Q*Bert Rebooted features hexagons.” The reboot also adds new enemies, variant Q*Berts, and power-ups, according to the developer.

Is Q*bert: Rebooted still available?
Availability is platform- and region-dependent, and an old platform list is not proof that a current download is offered. Check the relevant live store listing before planning to buy or install the game.
PC and Steam
Steam lists the game for PC, macOS, and SteamOS/Linux. It identifies Sideline Amusements and Gonzo Games as developers and publishers, gives a July 1, 2014 release date, and classifies it as a single-player action, casual, and indie game. The listing’s minimum operating-system requirements may be dated, so confirm the current listing and your operating system’s support rather than assuming compatibility.
