Ready Or Not has no built-in VR mode, but a free community mod called Ready Or Not VRO lets owners of the PC game play in VR. The mod is maintained by KITT and Mike VRO; its Nexus Mods listing showed version 1031, last updated June 15, 2026, when checked on October 8, 2026. You need the PC game, a VR headset and runtime, and a PC capable of handling the added workload.
What the Ready Or Not VR announcement means
Ready Or Not VRO is a community mod, not a separate game or an official VR mode from VOID Interactive. The publisher’s FAQ says, “Ready Or Not is not designed for VR at this stage.” That statement describes the game itself; it does not rule out the separate VRO mod. The current mod listing says VRO lets owners of Ready Or Not on PC play the base game and DLC in VR. VOID Interactive FAQ · Ready Or Not VRO on Nexus Mods
The mod was originally uploaded on November 14, 2025. Launch coverage described features including manual weapon reloads, a mission tablet, a body rig, gestures, left-handed support, voice control for the AI squad and custom door interactions. Features can change, so consult the current mod changelog before relying on a specific mechanic. The current listing includes left-handed support, optional gesture commands, a command wheel, a revolver, CPU optimisations and a fix for the Boiling Point DLC update. What you need to play VRO
- A PC copy of Ready Or Not. VRO is a mod for the game, not a standalone VR title.
- A PC VR headset and its runtime. The installation guide describes Meta Link and SteamVR setup paths.
- A PC with enough performance headroom for VR. The mod authors describe the experience as performance intensive and have not published recommended specifications.
UploadVR’s November 2025 launch report named Quest, Valve Index and PS VR2 with a PC adapter, and also reported crossplay with flatscreen players. Treat those as launch-era claims, not a current compatibility matrix or guarantee. The mod page reviewed here does not list a complete, up-to-date set of supported headsets and runtimes; check its latest instructions and community guidance for your exact setup before installing.

Performance, troubleshooting and multiplayer cautions
Performance settings
The mod page does not specify a minimum or recommended PC configuration, so there is no evidence-based hardware threshold to cite. It calls VR performance intensive and advises tuning graphics to suit the PC. Its suggestions include lowering graphics settings, setting Quest Link rendering resolution to 1.0x and reducing refresh rate to 72 Hz. For Nvidia GPU users, the page also discusses DLSS version and preset choices; consult that live guidance rather than relying on a potentially outdated download or setting recommendation.

Known issues
The current listing identifies crashes that can result from conflicts with other mods, as well as a multiplayer crash or checksum issue when other VR clients enter VR. This does not establish that multiplayer fails in every configuration, but it does mean broad compatibility should not be assumed. Check the listing’s current Known Issues and troubleshooting sections for the latest mitigations.

VRO is worth considering if you already own Ready Or Not on PC, have a PC VR setup, and are comfortable following a mod installation guide and troubleshooting possible conflicts. If you need confirmed support for a particular headset/runtime combination, a specific multiplayer setup, or a published performance target, the available listing does not establish those details; check the current project guidance before deciding. The mod itself is free, but the PC game is required.
