The Pokémon Company’s official announcement says the games will launch in 2027 in a simultaneous worldwide release. Nintendo’s May 11, 2026 financial results briefing also refers to a 2027 release. Neither source gives a day, month, or season.

The games are announced as Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives. The official release wording therefore establishes the year and platform, not a narrower launch window.
What does the “Fall 2027” leak claim?
A March 6, 2026 post on Reddit’s r/TruePokemon says the poster believed GAME Spain’s listing showed “Fall 2027.” The post does not show the alleged listing or link to it. That makes it a report about a supposed retailer date, not evidence that GAME Spain published a confirmed date or that The Pokémon Company changed its plans.

Comments in the thread suggest the date could be a retailer placeholder. That possibility is not confirmed either. Without the listing itself or an official announcement, “Fall 2027” should not be treated as the games’ release season.

What has been announced about the games?
The official announcement describes an open world with windswept islands and a large ocean. The Pokémon Company has also named the first partner Pokémon: Browt, the Bean Chick Pokémon (Grass type); Pombon, the Puppy Pokémon (Fire type); and Gecqua, the Water Gecko Pokémon (Water type). The player character’s outfit differs between versions, and Brazilian Portuguese is among the supported languages.
