Project K was Riot Games’ working title for a physical, tabletop League of Legends trading card game. Riot announced a publishing and distribution partnership with UVS Games on February 24, 2025, and described a planned rollout—not confirmed availability—in many English-speaking countries during 2025, with more regions planned for 2026. Later search results identify the game as Riftbound, but the information available here does not confirm its current release regions or sales channels.
What was Project K?
Riot introduced Project K as a physical trading card game based on League of Legends. It was designed for tabletop play, rather than being a digital-only card game. “Project K” was the announced working title, not necessarily the name under which the finished game would be sold.
What happened to Project K?
In its February 24, 2025 announcement, Riot said it was still refining the game’s final name, card design, and mechanics. Later search results refer to the League TCG as Riftbound. That identifies the name used in later coverage, but does not by itself verify the game’s present official release status.
Who was publishing and distributing it?
Riot named UVS Games as the game’s official publishing and distribution partner in the February 24, 2025 announcement. Riot’s announcement described UVS’s role; it did not establish specific retailers, product listings, or prices.

When was it supposed to be available?
Riot’s stated plan was availability in many English-speaking countries during 2025, followed by expansion into more regions in 2026. Those dates describe the plan announced at the time, not proof that the rollout was completed. The current regional release status and official purchase channels are not established by the available information, so check Riot’s or the game’s official channels for up-to-date availability before looking for a particular product.
