The Raging Wolf Set is a four-piece armor set earned through Recusant Bernahl’s Volcano Manor assassination questline. Its reward encounter is against Vargram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm in Leyndell’s Fortified Manor.
How to get the Raging Wolf Set
Progress Bernahl’s Volcano Manor quest until you receive the Letter to Bernahl. That letter unlocks an invasion sign on the ground floor of the Fortified Manor in Leyndell. Use it to join Bernahl against Vargram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm; defeating them awards the Raging Wolf Set. The encounter and reward are documented in the Letter to Bernahl reference, while Push Square’s armor guide places the set in Bernahl’s Volcano Manor assassination questline.

This is a quest reward, not a random drop from Vargram. The available references establish the Bernahl quest and Leyndell encounter, but do not establish every possible missability condition or definitively settle how all progression orders affect access. If you are trying to preserve the opportunity, advance Bernahl’s quest and complete the encounter when its sign is available rather than relying on anecdotal claims about a specific order for Leyndell and Rykard.

The set’s listed weight and defense figures let you judge it against your equip-load budget and the damage types you expect to face. Those numbers alone do not establish that it is better than another armor set: a fair comparison needs the same game version and the same categories of weight, negation, resistance, and poise. Its practical trade-off is also tied to quest progression, since obtaining it requires completing Bernahl’s Leyndell encounter rather than simply defeating an enemy elsewhere.
