Nintendo and Crocs’ first Animal Crossing footwear collection launched in 2025, turning the game’s island setting into green clogs and character-themed Jibbitz charms. US and Canadian availability began August 26; the global launch and Japan release followed August 27. The launch announcement documents the designs and Japan’s original prices, but it does not guarantee that any particular size is still in stock.
What the Animal Crossing Crocs look like
The collection uses a green color scheme inspired by the game’s island environment. In its July 2025 release, Crocs Japan described the sole as representing the sea and the strap as representing the sky, with floating balloons evoking the game’s calm atmosphere. A Tanuki detail appears at the strap rivet.
The two named clog styles have different silhouettes: an adult Platform Clog and a kids’ Classic Clog. The character and island-object details also extend to removable Jibbitz charms.

The packs feature Animal Crossing characters and familiar objects, including Tom Nook, K.K. Slider, a house, and an apple tree. The Japan announcement lists the Creator and Collector five-packs as accessories; it does not say they were included with either pair of clogs. Launch dates, Japan prices and sizes
Nintendo announced that the collection would be available in the US and Canada beginning August 26, 2025, with a global launch to follow on August 27. Crocs Japan separately announced its own August 27 launch through its online store, Crocs brand stores, and participating retailers. These are market-specific dates, not one universal launch day. Nintendo’s announcement and the Japan release give the regional timing.

Availability depends on region, style, and size. The Crocs UK Animal Crossing collection page displayed adult Platform Clog listings, kids’ Classic Clog listings, and the Collector 5 Pack when checked. A product listing is not confirmation that every size is in stock; check the product page and your local Crocs storefront before ordering. Why the collaboration fits the game
The collection translates recognizable parts of Animal Crossing—its sea-and-sky setting, characters, and everyday island objects—into both the clog design and detachable charms. Crocs Japan’s 2025 release also stated that the series had surpassed 45 million cumulative copies sold since its 2001 debut; that figure is Crocs Japan’s statement in the collaboration announcement, not a separately audited sales figure.
