Rematch’s crossplay arrived with Patch #3 on September 3, 2025, enabling cross-platform matchmaking and joining friends across the platforms where the game was released. Sloclap also announced an in-game player-reporting flow that September, but its announcement does not identify the live patch number or verify the current menu path. These features are part of the game’s rollout history, not new additions in October 2026.
When did crossplay arrive in Rematch?
Sloclap’s July 18, 2025 update said crossplay and player reporting were expected within six to nine weeks. On September 3, the official Patch #3 – 1.200.300 notes said crossplay would be activated with that patch. It lets players matchmake and join friends across the platforms on which Rematch had been released.
Crossplay means playing together across platforms; it does not mean cross-progression. Sloclap said cross-progression would not be included in the crossplay update. The July 18 developer update set that expectation before Patch #3 arrived.
What did Sloclap say about player reporting?
In its September 5, 2025 Mini Dev Update #4, Sloclap described an in-game flow in which players could choose a reason for a report. The report would be stored in the studio’s backend so it could take action against serious offenders. Sloclap said reports would no longer be accepted by email or through the official Discord ticket system.

The announcement describes the intended workflow, but does not establish which live patch introduced it. It also does not confirm the current menu path or screen labels, so there is no verified set of button-by-button instructions to give here.

No. The rollout took place in 2025. The newest dated official patch listed on Rematch’s news page in the sources reviewed is Season 5 Hotfix 1.205.004, dated October 2, 2026. Its notes mention a reduction to standing tackle assist and bug fixes, not the original crossplay rollout.
