Amazon Games published the Western release notes on August 19, 2025, ahead of scheduled maintenance on August 20 at 2 a.m. PT (9 a.m. UTC), expected to last four hours. The update introduced Valkyrie, Trust Points, Ebony Cube changes, progression events, the returning Golden Frog, and the Prestige Shop. What are Valkyrie’s two playstyles?
Valkyrie wields a one-handed sword and uses skills described as Holy Radiance and Justice. Her Piety Meter fills during combat, supporting two distinct approaches: strengthening and healing nearby allies, or dealing damage with holy swords. Support: healing, auras, and buffs
Light Unleashing skills enhance nearby party members’ combat abilities. Conviction of Liberation enables Light of Conviction skills, which heal nearby allies. This is the class’s support path for players who want to contribute through party buffs and healing.

DPS: holy swords and front-line damage
The damage-dealing path summons holy swords and focuses on fighting at the front line. The overview describes the theme and skills but does not provide damage figures or a ranking against other classes.
The update also added a Class Awakening Quest, ten achievements, a title, a trophy, and a Training Room Guide. Its release page includes the in-character line, “The light I shine upon the battlefield shall never fade,” without identifying a named speaker. Amazon Games’ Valkyrie update overview
How did Trust Points change gold transactions?
Trust became account-wide and was tied to eligible gold-consuming growth activities. The stated goal was to combat real-money trading while limiting effects on average player behavior. Spending one normal gold added one Trust Point; spending roster-bound or character-bound gold added 0.1 Trust Point per gold. Trust also affects player-to-player gold transactions. Gold mail and personal gold transfers reduce Trust. When Trust is insufficient, gold mail may carry an additional fee, and some transfers or requests can be blocked if the player cannot pay. The update also introduced price limits for certain Market and Auction House listings and changes to cross-server gold mail. Tier 4 Ebony Cube rewards and tickets
For Tier 4, the update doubled the gems provided by Ebony Cube while reducing Cube Ticket drop rates by 50%, including drops through guild shops and dispatches. Existing Tier 4 tickets in relevant inventories and selection chests were converted at a 2:1 ratio. Players could exchange fragments for tickets, with excess fragments exchangeable for Silver. Weekly Hell Key exchange

Hyper Awakening for Tier 3 characters

Rise of the Valkyrie Event
The event ran from August 20 through November 19, 2025. Players selected one character between item level 1640 and below 1681. Honing support applied from item level 1660 through 1680, and rewards were tied to item levels 1640, 1650, 1660, 1670, and 1680.

The 1680 milestone included chests for item levels 1690 and 1700. Challenge missions included Aegir and Brelshaza clears; the reward pool included honing and progression materials and four bound Tier 4 level 7 gems. Powerpass, Maharaka Festival, and Golden Frog
The update included an Event Powerpass that could stack with the July Powerpass, although the two Powerpasses had different expiration dates. The Maharaka Festival continued with a new quest. The Twinkle Twinkle Exchange Event, also known as the Golden Frog, ran from August 20 to September 17, 2025; players could exchange eligible gold for rewards such as honing materials, engraving items, and card packs. What other features and balance changes arrived?
Prestige Shop
The Prestige Shop awarded Prestige Points equal to 10% of eligible Royal Crystal spending, with points granted retroactively for prior eligible spending. Steam DLC and MTX items, as well as items purchased with Crystals, were excluded. Amazon Games’ update details
