Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked is a three-game retro collection with useful modern conveniences, not a remake or a package of newly added campaign content. It includes Rocket Knight Adventures, SPARKSTER Rocket Knight Adventures 2, and SPARKSTER, plus a Museum, Music Player, Boss Rush, save-anytime progression, rewind, and display options. It launched June 11, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam.
What games are included?
KONAMI’s collection brings together three games:
- Rocket Knight Adventures
- SPARKSTER Rocket Knight Adventures 2
- SPARKSTER
The central appeal is revisiting these side-scrolling action games and Sparkster’s rocket-propelled movement in one package. KONAMI lists archival material and convenience features alongside the games; it does not describe new campaign content. See KONAMI’s product page for the collection and feature list.
What do the added features offer?
The extras address different ways to revisit the games: some preserve material around them, while others make play sessions more flexible.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Museum | An archival feature included in the collection. |
| Music Player | Lets players listen to the games’ music. |
| Boss Rush | Allows players to jump directly to a boss encounter. |
| Save progression | Lets players save their progression at any time. |
| Rewind | Rewinds gameplay for a short period; KONAMI specifies a maximum of five seconds. |
| Display settings | Provides multiple display options. |
The Museum and Music Player are the collection’s archival extras. Boss Rush, saving, rewind, and display settings are convenience features rather than additional story stages. KONAMI’s feature listing describes the rewind limit and the other options.

How strong are the reviews?
Storefront feedback offers a limited snapshot of player opinion, not a professional-review consensus. The figures below are the storefront snapshots recorded in 2026; they can change as more users rate or review the game.
| Storefront | Recorded user feedback | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | 63% positive from 44 user reviews; Steam labels the all-time aggregate “Mixed.” | Share of user reviews marked positive, not a star average. |
| PlayStation Store (US) | 4.72 out of 5 from 131 ratings. | Average rating; the US store says ratings and reviews come from verified owners and are moderated. |
These scores use different methods and should not be ranked against each other as if they were the same measure. They also do not establish how critics reviewed the collection. Check the live listings for current figures: Steam and the US PlayStation Store.

Is there a physical edition?
KONAMI announced physical editions in collaboration with Limited Run Games. That announcement establishes the planned physical release, but not current stock, the contents of a particular edition, platform-specific SKUs, or an active Amazon offer. Nintendo’s current US listing describes its Switch product as digital. Check the seller, platform, edition, condition, stock, and price on a live listing before buying a physical copy. KONAMI’s announcements cover the collaboration; the Nintendo listing identifies the digital Switch edition.
