Does that mean a remake is coming?
No. Fortune’s Weave is a new series entry, not evidence that Nintendo has announced a remake. Nintendo’s May 2026 investor presentation lists announced first-party Switch 2 titles and includes Fortune’s Weave; it does not identify a Fire Emblem remake. What players can follow now
The confirmed series release is Fortune’s Weave, which Nintendo says is exclusive to Switch 2 and launches Sept. 17, 2026. Nintendo’s August Direct page also describes a Dagdan Collection containing a steel game case, art cards, a map, and an artbook. Those products are tied to the new game, not to a remake announcement.
