No. Roblox does not offer a legitimate way to get 5,000 Robux for free. Roblox says offers of free Robux, subscriptions, or valuable items are scams. You can send or gift Robux through certain official features, but those involve eligibility limits or a paid purchase—not a free generator, code, or giveaway link.
Can you give someone 5,000 Robux for free?
Not through a legitimate Roblox feature. Roblox’s Ways to Get Robux guidance says there are no Robux generators, and its scam guidance says any offer of free Robux is a scam. A player may be able to transfer Robux to another account, but that is a limited account-to-account transfer, not a free grant from Roblox.
What Roblox’s transfer limits actually mean
Roblox’s transfer feature is limited to eligible Roblox Plus senders. Its current support guidance lists baseline limits of up to 500 Robux per day and 1,000 per month. Eligible users with 2-Step Verification enabled and accounts in good standing may have higher limits of up to 5,000 per day and 10,000 per month. Roblox notes that limits can change, so check its Sending and Receiving Robux help page before making a transfer.
The 5,000 figure is a maximum daily transfer limit for eligible users, not a free-Robux offer. Roblox says transfers are final and cannot be reversed. It also says it will never ask you to send Robux to another user to verify your account.

Transfer Robux
If you are eligible for Roblox Plus transfers, you can send Robux through Roblox’s official feature, subject to applicable age checks, parental approval for some younger users, and transfer limits. Confirm the recipient and amount before completing the transaction because transfers are final.
Buy Robux as a gift
Roblox describes a gifting-link feature that lets a gifter purchase Robux for a recipient. Its support page says availability is limited to select users in the United States on computer/web. The gifter must be 18 or older and meet phone-verification requirements. Gifts are final sale and non-refundable. Check Roblox’s Gifting Robux page for current availability and requirements.

Use a gift card
A Roblox gift card is another paid way to obtain Robux. Roblox lists gift cards among its purchase options; the card is not a free-Robux promotion. Check the current card terms and redemption options rather than assuming a particular denomination buys exactly 5,000 Robux.

Be wary of websites, videos, messages, or experiences promising a free-Robux generator, code, survey reward, or valuable item in exchange for credentials or a link click. Roblox Support states, “Any offer of free Robux, subscriptions, or valuable items is a scam.” It advises players: “Never enter your password anywhere other than the Roblox login page” and “Don’t click on suspicious offsite links.”
