Roblox’s first Creator Showdown was a live, in-person tournament held in Los Angeles on December 4, 2025. Eight creators competed across five rounds for a share of Roblox’s announced $50,000 prize pool. Roblox later reported that Caylus and Foltyn’s Red Team won after viewers chose Volleyball Legends for the wildcard round.
What was the Roblox Creator Showdown?
Roblox introduced Creator Showdown as a creator-led competition. The company’s December 4, 2025 announcement described the first installment as an in-person Los Angeles event in which four two-person teams competed across five rounds. Roblox announced a total prize pool of $50,000; it did not disclose how that pool was divided among participants.
Roblox Chief Marketing Officer Jerret West characterized the event as “more than a competition; it’s a celebration of the creativity and energy that make Roblox unique.” That is the company’s description of the tournament, rather than an independent assessment. Roblox’s December 2025 announcement

Winner of the first Showdown
In an April 24, 2026 follow-up, Roblox said Caylus and Foltyn’s Red Team won the first Creator Showdown. The company said viewers selected Volleyball Legends for the wildcard round and that this choice “ultimately sealed” the team’s win. Roblox’s post called its April 2026 event the second Creator Showdown in the series. The post does not state an individual payout or establish how the prize pool was split. What games were played?
Roblox’s announcement named Rivals, Tower of Hell, Blue Lock: Rivals and Ink Game among the games for the five-round format. The final round’s game was to be chosen by viewers in The Block. Roblox later identified Volleyball Legends as the game viewers selected for the first event’s wildcard round. The announcement does not map each named game to a specific round.

Where could viewers watch and participate?
Roblox listed its official YouTube, Twitch and TikTok accounts, as well as The Block, as viewing options. In The Block, viewers could vote on round winners and help choose the wildcard game. Roblox also promoted fan zones and exclusive avatar items for viewers there. Those items were virtual rewards, not physical prizes, and the cited announcement does not establish that they can still be obtained.
