Salvation’s Edge encounter triumphs
The five encounter triumphs are separate from the rotating weekly raid challenge. The restrictions below are reported by Destiny2.GamesRef.com and the Salvation’s Edge guide at Vaexil.tv, which reported verification on July 30, 2026. Check the in-game Triumph wording if it differs from this reference or mechanics have changed.

For Verity, Vaexil.tv also describes a separate restriction called Balanced Diet: do not collect the same Resonance type on consecutive pickups, including across banking and between rooms. Treat that as guide-reported tactical advice and confirm the relevant Triumph text in game rather than assuming it is the active weekly challenge.
How to check the active weekly challenge
Bungie stated in its July 18, 2024, This Week In Destiny that “raid challenges are only available one at a time on a weekly schedule.” That is a historical statement, not confirmation of the schedule or active selection on October 8, 2026. Bungie’s 2026 Update 9.7.0 describes weekly featured raids, but does not identify the active Salvation’s Edge challenge for that date.

- Check the activity’s challenge or featured indicators and read the in-game details before assembling a team.
- If the raid is not featured or the challenge is not shown, do not assume an encounter triumph listed above is the current weekly challenge.
The five encounter triumphs in the table are restrictions tied to particular encounters; they should not be confused with the rotating weekly raid challenge. Check the live Director listing when planning a challenge-specific or rewards-focused run.
Featured raid and Master rewards
Bungie’s 2026 Update 9.7.0 says featured raids can reward Deepsight weapons or Tier 5 armor from standard encounters and challenges. In featured raids, Master challenges can also award Adept weapons. These rewards depend on featured status and the activity’s current listing; the update does not establish that Salvation’s Edge is featured on October 8, 2026.
Bungie also reported a historical issue in July 2024 in which Salvation’s Edge Master challenges did not count toward the Ignited Light Triumph. Bungie said it had fixed the tracking problem and temporarily made all Master challenges available for one week to give players another opportunity. That one-time exception is not evidence of a current bug or current all-challenges period.

At the raid’s May 30, 2024 launch, Bungie said the fireteam leader needed to complete The Final Shape campaign and the Wild Card Exotic quest to launch Salvation’s Edge. That is launch-era guidance; Bungie’s launch announcement does not establish whether those entry requirements have changed since then. Check the current activity listing if the raid will not launch.
