Use Physical attacks against Naamah and Electric skills against Glasya-Labolas. Naamah can Charm the party, while Glasya-Labolas attacks with Force and can inflict Mirage. Choose your first target according to your party: take down Naamah early if Charm is hard to control, or focus Glasya-Labolas if Electric damage is your most reliable way to score a quick knockout.
Where the second Naamah and Glasya-Labolas fight takes place
This is the Canon of Vengeance main-story battle in the Shinagawa region, not the earlier solo Naamah encounter or Glasya-Labolas’s opening fight. Samurai Gamers lists Naamah at level 22 and Glasya-Labolas at level 21, and recommends entering at level 22 or higher. See Samurai Gamers’ Naamah and Glasya-Labolas boss guide.
Exploit each boss’s weakness
| Boss | Weakness to target | Defenses to avoid | Threat to manage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Naamah | Physical | Resists Fire, Ice, Electric, and Force; nulls Dark | Capitulate to Pleasure can Charm the party; Mudo and Mamudo are dangerous to characters weak to Dark |
| Glasya-Labolas | Electric | Nulls Force and Dark | Mirage Assailment hits all party members with Force and can inflict Mirage; Zanma is a single-target Force attack |
These encounter affinities are reported by Samurai Gamers and Neoseeker. Do not spend turns casting Force on Glasya-Labolas or Dark on either boss. Use Physical damage on Naamah and Electric damage on Glasya-Labolas to hit their weaknesses.
Choose which boss to defeat first
There is no single best kill order for every party. The two documented approaches prioritize different risks: Naamah’s Charm threat or Glasya-Labolas’s Electric weakness. Your available damage, status recovery, and Force defenses should decide the order.

Focus Naamah first if Charm is your main risk
Nintendo Everything treats Naamah as the more immediate threat because Capitulate to Pleasure can Charm party members. Direct strong Physical attacks at her early and keep the party under control. The guide describes opening with Omagatoki: Critical as a possible burst strategy for a sufficiently strong party; it is not a guaranteed way to defeat her before she acts. Read Nintendo Everything’s second Qadištu boss battle guide.
Focus Glasya-Labolas first if Electric damage is dependable
Neoseeker recommends using Electric skills against Glasya-Labolas before concentrating on Naamah. This route fits a party with reliable Zio- or Zionga-line skills, or one that prefers to remove the Force attacker first. It leaves Naamah’s Charm threat in play for longer, so be ready to cure or otherwise manage the ailment.

Spend turns to gain Press Turn actions
Weakness hits can earn extra actions. SEGA’s official Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance system page puts it plainly: “Keep targeting your enemies’ weaknesses to gain more actions!” In this encounter, that means directing Physical attacks at Naamah and Electric attacks at Glasya-Labolas rather than using resisted or nullified elements.
Use a charged Magatsuhi Skill when its damage, healing, or buff effect advances your chosen target plan or helps the party survive. SEGA’s system page describes Magatsuhi Skills as providing damage, healing, or buffs; the best choice depends on your party and the situation.

Prepare for Charm, Mirage, and Force damage
- Have Charm recovery ready. Capitulate to Pleasure can disrupt party control. Use available Charm protection or recovery, and restore control promptly if the ailment lands.
- Watch Dark weaknesses. Naamah’s Mudo and Mamudo can punish party members vulnerable to Dark.
- Limit Force exposure. Mirage Assailment is an all-target Force attack with a chance to inflict Mirage, and Zanma targets one party member. Avoid leaving Force-weak members exposed where possible.
- Keep recovery options available. Samurai Gamers recommends HP and MP recovery items, ailment recovery items, and dampeners. Bring the supplies your party can use to recover from the damage and status effects in this fight.
