MapGenie’s unofficial S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 map is a searchable companion for finding stashes and other points of interest across the Zone. Its Google Play listing, updated August 14, 2026, advertises more than 4,000 locations and 30-plus categories; treat those as MapGenie’s claims, not an independent check that every marker is present or current.
How to use the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 interactive map
Open MapGenie: STALKER 2 Map on Google Play for the app, or use the map through MapGenie’s website. The listing describes quick search and more than 30 categories, so search for a named point of interest or use the category controls to narrow the markers shown. MapGenie also advertises progress tracking, notes, and syncing between the app and website.
These are features advertised by MapGenie, not a guarantee that a particular location is marked or that app and website behavior will match every player’s needs. The listing reports ads and in-app purchases, but does not establish which features require payment or their prices.
What the map covers—and what the counts mean
MapGenie’s Google Play listing, updated August 14, 2026, advertises over 4,000 locations. That is a publisher-reported count, not an independently audited total. Windows Central’s November 21, 2024 guide described S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 as covering 60 square kilometers across 20 regions; this is secondary reporting from that date, not an official developer specification or a current map-completeness measure.

That description is historical and should not be assumed to reflect the map’s current status. GSC Game World has since announced Update 2.0, and MapGenie’s listing reports an app update in August 2026. Those dates show activity, but neither establishes that every marker has been revised for the current game version.
Alternative: Shackmaps
Shackmaps’ S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 interactive map is another option. Its listing includes stashes, storage boxes, anomalies, weapons, and gear. The available feature descriptions do not establish whether Shackmaps or MapGenie is more accurate, complete, faster, or better maintained, so choose based on the categories and interface that suit your search.

Use either map to guide exploration, then confirm important locations in the game itself. Neither MapGenie’s app listing nor Shackmaps’ listing independently verifies every marker. For an up-to-date reference, check the map’s own update notes and compare its information with the current game before relying on a location.
