To find Assimilated Scouts in Star Trek Fleet Command, use the USS Voyager’s Advanced Sensors active ability to reveal them. A 2024 secondary guide reports that level 39 scouts are in Shal’ika, level 45 in Misalup, and level 54 in Neara; treat those locations as unverified in the current game and check the target after revealing it.
How to reveal Assimilated Scouts
- Travel in the USS Voyager.
- Activate the ship’s Advanced Sensors ability to reveal special hostiles.
- Check the system for an Assimilated Scout, then engage it if it appears.
Scopely’s Update 55 announcement names Assimilated Scouts among the new Voyager-loop hostiles and says Advanced Sensors must be used to reveal them. The ability reveals a target; it does not automatically summon one.

Reported scout levels and systems
The following locations are reported by the secondary guide Games Learning Society’s “STFC: Assimilated Scouts”, which shows publication dates of April 22, 2024 and January 8, 2024. Scopely’s Update 55 announcement confirms the reveal mechanic but does not give a scout-location table, so verify the system and level in your live game.

What to do if no scout appears
Advanced Sensors reveals a location; it does not guarantee that a scout will be present. The guide suggests that another player may have defeated the hostile. If the target is absent, wait and check again or try another system from the reported list. The guide does not state a respawn timer, so there is no supported fixed wait time to rely on.

Rewards and event availability
The Games Learning Society guide reports sample level-specific rewards, including Parsteel from a level 39 Federation scout, Dilithium from a level 39 Klingon scout, Tritanium from a level 39 Romulan scout, and broken ship parts from level 45 and 54 variants. Those reward types and ranges are secondary-source information, not confirmed current or guaranteed drops; check the hostile’s in-game rewards before planning around them.
Historical Borg Reconnaissance and First Contact Day event pages do not establish that an Assimilated Scout event is active now. Check current in-game event listings or an official announcement for present availability. Also distinguish Assimilated Scouts from Assimilated Ferengi Traders and newer Conqueror Borg hostiles: those are separate hostile types and their guides do not confirm scout locations.
