Sandship: Crafting Factory is a factory-management game about building automated production lines on a post-apocalyptic world. You place machines, connect them with conveyors, make goods to trade for progression resources, and expand your ship. Rockbite Games says development has been discontinued; that does not, by itself, confirm whether the game’s servers are still available.

What is Sandship?

Sandship: Crafting Factory is a science-fiction factory-building game from Rockbite Games. Its central activity is designing production layouts: machines such as synthesizers and chemical mixers turn inputs into materials, while conveyor belts connect each stage of a production chain. The challenge is to arrange a working factory and improve it as recipes and goals grow more involved.

The game’s setting is Noranti One, a ruined world, and the player is guided by Harvey, a cyborg engineering mentor. These are elements of the game’s fictional story, as described in its Google Play listing and Apple App Store listing.

How does the gameplay work?

Build and automate factories

Players place production devices, connect them with conveyors, and use those systems to manufacture increasingly complex goods. Factory layout is a core part of play: the goal is not simply to collect machines, but to organize a production floor that can make what a task or trade requires.

Trade goods and progress

Manufactured goods can be traded for credits, XP, and crates containing knowledge used for progression. Expanding the Sandship provides more room for factories, giving players space to build out their production systems.

Take quests, solve puzzles, and experiment

Production is combined with quests around Noranti One and a story involving Harvey. The store descriptions also mention hostile enemies attacking the Sandship, factory-floor puzzles that players can solve and share, and a sandbox mode for experimenting with layouts.

Is Sandship still maintained?

No. Rockbite Games’ official Sandship page says development has been discontinued. The developer’s statement reads: “While development has been discontinued, we cherish the journey we shared with our team and players alike.”

That announcement establishes that development has ended, but it does not state when service will end or confirm whether the game remains playable on each platform. Server availability and account conditions therefore cannot be concluded from the discontinuation notice alone.

Where can you play Sandship?

Store listings identify Sandship for Android and Windows on Google Play, and for iPhone and iPad on Apple’s App Store. Store availability can change by region and over time, so check the relevant listing for your location and device before planning to play.

Is Sandship free?

Google Play and Apple’s App Store list Sandship as free to play with in-app purchases. Those listings do not establish current purchase prices or provide enough detail to assess the value of individual purchases.

Who is Sandship for?

Sandship is a fit for players who enjoy planning automated production chains, tuning factory layouts, and making steady progress through objectives. Its quests, puzzles, and fictional setting add variety around that central systems-focused play.

It may be a less suitable choice if you specifically want a game receiving ongoing development: Rockbite says development has been discontinued. If continued online access is important to you, verify that the game works on your device and in your region before investing time or making purchases; the developer’s announcement does not settle current server status.
