Community guides link Calamity Seal to the Academy Island route in Sailor Piece and say it is used to summon Anos there. They disagree about how to obtain it: one points to Academy Island teachers, while another describes drops from several enemy and boss types after the Demonite Core quest. Because no official drop table confirms either account, check the current in-game route rather than relying on a guaranteed farm or drop rate.
What Calamity Seal does
Community guides describe Calamity Seal as an item used at Academy Island to summon Anos. The reported use is consistent across the guides, but the sources do not establish an official, current item description or developer-confirmed acquisition method.
How to get Calamity Seal: check these routes
Two community accounts describe different ways to obtain the Seal. Neither is confirmed by an official drop table, so use them as routes to test in your current game version.
| Community-reported route | Prerequisite | Enemies said to drop it | Evidence status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Academy Island teacher route | No Demonite Core prerequisite is stated in this guide. [c001] | Academy Island teachers [c001] | Community guide claim; current version not established. |
| Broader post-quest route | Complete or unlock the Demonite Core quest, according to the guide. [c002] | Normal enemies, world bosses, and difficulty bosses [c002] | Community guide claim; not independently confirmed. |
Start with Academy Island progression
- Check Academy Island and your progression for the Demonite Core quest. One community guide presents it as a prerequisite; another does not mention it, so do not assume it is required in every version.
- If teachers are available on the route, defeat Academy Island teachers and check your inventory for Calamity Seal.
- If that produces no Seal, and the Demonite Core quest is available, test the broader route described by the other guide: normal enemies, world bosses, and difficulty bosses.
- Confirm the item has appeared in your inventory before heading to the Academy Island boss summoner.
This sequence is a practical way to check both reported routes, not a guaranteed unlock path. Community accounts conflict, and the current drop source has not been established by an official source.

Calamity Seal drop rate and farming speed
A Sailor Piece Wiki community material guide reports a Calamity Seal drop-rate range of 0.1%–2.9%. The returned information does not tie that aggregate range to a particular enemy, so it cannot tell you which route is fastest or predict how long a drop will take. Treat it as an unverified community estimate, not a guaranteed rate.
For a useful farm check, track which enemy types you have actually defeated and whether the item drops, rather than assuming every source shares the same chance. Stop treating a route as confirmed if it does not match the current in-game behavior.

Summoning Anos at Academy Island
After obtaining the Seal, use the Academy Island boss summoner to summon Anos, as described by community boss guides. Prepare for an endgame fight. A SailorPiece.org community guide lists Anos at level 9,000 with 350 million HP; those figures are update-sensitive and may not match the current game.
A Sailor Piece Wiki boss guide, stated to be updated in March 2026, says players must deal at least 10% of a boss’s HP to qualify for drops. This is community-reported guidance, not a confirmed current mechanic. If you are farming Anos or another boss, contribute substantial damage and check whether the eligibility rule still applies in-game.

What is confirmed—and what is not
- Community guides agree that Calamity Seal is associated with summoning Anos at Academy Island.
- The reported acquisition routes conflict: Academy Island teachers in one guide, versus normal enemies, world bosses, and difficulty bosses after the Demonite Core quest in another.
- The 0.1%–2.9% range is not assigned to a specific enemy in the available account, so it does not support a precise farming-time estimate.
- Anos’s listed level and HP, and the reported 10% damage eligibility threshold, are community claims that can change with updates.
No official developer source or official drop-rate table is established for these details. Verify the route and mechanics in your current game version.
