That makes it a compelling grip for original Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED owners who want a more comfortable hold—but “best” reflects that reviewer’s assessment, not a current market-wide comparison. OLED owners should also weigh the need to remove the grip to use the console’s wide kickstand or reach its microSD slot.
What the ZenGrip Pro does—and which Switch models it fits
The ZenGrip Pro is a grip shell for handheld play: slide the console into it for a more substantial, textured hold, then remove it when you want to play without the grip. Satisfye’s current Gen 3 product listing says it fits the original Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED, and offers black or white. That compatibility statement does not establish support for Switch Lite or Nintendo Switch 2.
In her iMore review, published July 12, 2022 and updated that month, Rebecca Spear described the grip as slim rather than bulky, textured, comfortable during longer sessions, and easy to install and remove. She wrote: “The ZenGrip Pro securely holds onto your Switch and easily allows you to remove it.” These are the reviewer’s hands-on impressions, not measured ergonomic results or a guarantee that every player will experience less discomfort.
How it feels in use
The appeal is a more comfortable-feeling shape without switching to a controller-style replacement for the Joy-Cons. Spear’s review reports a snug fit and a texture that helped make longer handheld sessions more comfortable for her. The slim profile may suit players who want a grip without a notably bulky setup, though the review does not provide measurements or a direct ergonomic test against other grips.

Installation and removal are straightforward in the reviewer’s experience, but the snug fit calls for care—particularly with the OLED console. Avoid forcing the Switch into or out of the shell; take time to align it and remove it carefully.
What Switch OLED owners give up while it is attached
The ZenGrip Pro covers access needed for two OLED-specific conveniences. According to the iMore review, remove the grip to reach the console’s microSD slot or to use its wide built-in kickstand. If you regularly switch between tabletop play and handheld play, that extra step matters. The grip is best suited to a routine where handheld comfort takes priority and removing the shell occasionally is acceptable.

Standalone grip or bundle?
Check the exact product configuration before buying: the standalone Gen 3 grip is not the same purchase as a case bundle. Satisfye’s official Elite bundle listing names these included items:
- ZenGrip Pro
- ZenCase Pro Elite
- 3-foot USB-C-to-USB-C cable
- Controller rail
- RyzePad Wave thumb pads
Those contents apply to the listed Elite bundle; other bundles or standalone listings may differ. Confirm the live SKU and its box contents rather than assuming a case or extras come with every grip.

Price and value
Satisfye’s standalone product page displayed $29.99 when accessed in 2026. That is a dated price snapshot, not a guaranteed current price or a recommendation; price and stock can change. Spear identified price as the main drawback in her 2022 review. Whether it is worthwhile depends on how often you play handheld and how much you value a more comfortable-feeling hold over the OLED model’s convenient kickstand and microSD access.

The case for the ZenGrip Pro is a specific one: a dedicated handheld grip with favorable reported comfort, in exchange for an extra piece to remove when you need certain OLED features. Spear’s July 2022 iMore review supports calling it a strong option, but not a definitive best grip across the current market.
