To complete the Scientist’s Quest in Abyss, accept “Fix The Toilet,” collect four objects in the starter hub—Toilet Paper, Toilet, Door, and Power Relays—then return to the Scientist. Finishing the quest unlocks teleporter access.
Start “Fix The Toilet”
Find the Scientist in the starter hub and talk to him to accept the quest. Guides use different names for the surrounding area—Forgotten Deep, Forgotten Dome, and, in one reference, Forbidden Dome—so use the NPC and the landmarks below to orient yourself rather than relying on one map label.
Find the four quest items
Collect each object by its nearby landmark:
- Toilet Paper: Look under the table where characters are sitting.
- Toilet: Find it behind Richard, near a tree.
- Door: Pick it up beside the Tube shop, identified as David’s shop in the community wiki.
- Power Relays: Look next to Billy, near wooden boxes or the portable storage area.
The descriptions are landmark-based; use the nearby NPCs, shop, table, and boxes if the area name shown in your version differs.
Return to the Scientist
After collecting all four items, go back to the Scientist to complete “Fix The Toilet.” The reward is access to the teleporter, which lets you travel between regions.

Teleport fees and map-label differences
Some published guide material describes teleporting between regions for a small fee, but an exact current fee is not established. Check the in-game teleporter interface for its current cost. Published references also disagree on the hub’s area name, so the landmark descriptions are more dependable than a single label.
