What was Season 01 Reloaded?
Season 01 Reloaded was the mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone. Call of Duty Staff announced it on December 3, 2024, saying, “This is Season 01 Reloaded, launching December 5.” The update went live across platforms on December 5 at 9 AM PT. The announcement’s overview covered new Multiplayer maps and weapons, the Zombies map Citadelle des Morts, CODMAS content, and Warzone Battle Royale Ranked Play. Read the official announcement.
This is a historical guide to that update, not a statement about which seasonal playlists are available now. Treyarch’s Black Ops 6 patch notes include a December 4 Reloaded overview and dated follow-up entries through January 9, 2025. Warzone changes are tracked separately by Raven Software.
Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: maps and modes
Maps in the Reloaded lineup

These are the map formats identified in Treyarch’s Reloaded overview. The overview does not establish that every map or mode remains in the current playlist rotation.

Seasonal Multiplayer modes
- Ran-Snack: teams collected and deposited cookies to score and earn buffs.
- Infectious Holiday: a holiday-themed version of Infected.
Both were seasonal offerings associated with the Reloaded period, rather than a guarantee of ongoing availability.
Zombies: Citadelle des Morts and seasonal additions
Citadelle des Morts was the headline new round-based Zombies map. The launch overview also featured four elemental Wonder Weapons, the Vulture Aid Perk, the Light Mend Ammo Mod, the Tesla Storm Field Upgrade, and GobbleGums. Jingle Hells was the seasonal Zombies mode. The overview also flagged Directed Mode content as planned for later in the season; it should not be mistaken for a feature that necessarily arrived with the December 5 launch.

After launch, Treyarch’s dated patch ledger recorded corrections and other balance or stability changes. Consult the official Black Ops 6 patch notes for the individual entries and their dates; the overview and later fixes are separate parts of the update history.

Warzone’s Reloaded details belong to Raven Software’s separate Season 01 Warzone patch notes, not Treyarch’s Black Ops 6 ledger. They documented Holiday Rush on Area 99, Slay Ride Resurgence on Urzikstan, and the return of Battle Royale Ranked Play on December 5, 2024.

Ranked Play access requirement
The Warzone notes said players needed qualifying top placements in at least 30 matches to access Ranked Play. A qualifying result was top six teams in Resurgence or top 15 teams in Battle Royale. This was an eligibility rule reported for that rollout, not a statistic about the player base or guidance on current playlist access.
