Secret Level is Prime Video’s adult animated anthology: 15 short stories set in or inspired by distinct video-game worlds. It is not one continuous adaptation. The episodes range from Dungeons & Dragons and PAC-MAN to Armored Core and Honor of Kings, with individual runtimes of 8 to 19 minutes according to Prime Video’s Season 1 catalog.
What is Secret Level about?
Each episode tells a separate story connected to a different game property or world. The format lets the series move between fantasy, science fiction, action, horror and comedy without requiring a shared plot or cast across the season. Prime Video lists 15 episodes, and Blur Studio describes the collection as spanning new games, existing titles, indies and classics.

Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio created the series. Tim Miller is its creator and an executive producer; Dave Wilson is an executive producer and supervising director, according to TheWrap. Blur Studio, known for Love, Death + Robots, says Secret Level was Prime Video’s largest debut for a new animated series ever. That is the studio’s characterization; its project page does not provide an audience figure or methodology.
Which video games are in Secret Level?
Prime Video’s catalog names 14 game properties across the 15 episodes, plus one episode labeled “Playtime.” The list spans tabletop role-playing, arcade classics, established franchises and newer game worlds. The Prime Video listing also includes three brief bonus featurettes: “Honoring the Source Material” (2 minutes), “Capturing the Moment” (1 minute) and “Beyond the Map” (2 minutes).
How many episodes are there, and when did they come out?
Season 1 has 15 episodes. Prime Video’s catalog groups entries 1–8 under dates of Dec. 9 or 10, 2024, and entries 9–15 under Dec. 16, 2024. Those are the dates shown on the catalog; the exact local display may vary by market.

Amazon Games announced the series on Aug. 20, 2024, with Dec. 10, 2024 as its planned Prime Video launch date. The announcement said the show would be available in more than 240 countries and territories; that was the launch plan, not a current guarantee of availability in every location. Amazon Games framed the project as a way to extend game worlds into other media when appropriate. Its announcement also quoted New World: Aeternum game director Scot Lane saying the episode would introduce more people to that universe through a new story.

Prime Video’s Philippines-localized listing showed a series-level 16+ advisory and warnings for violence, alcohol use, smoking, language and flashing or strobing imagery. Ratings and availability can differ by market, so check the listing for your region if those details matter.

The episodes are short standalone stories, so viewers can choose based on a familiar franchise, a premise or runtime rather than following a season-long plot. The catalog lists runtimes from 8 minutes for Mega Man: Start and Spelunky: Tally to 19 minutes for Unreal Tournament: Xan, Warhammer 40,000: And They Shall Know No Fear, Crossfire: Good Conflict and The Outer Worlds: The Company We Keep.
Is Secret Level getting another season?
No official second-season order or continuation date is established in the sources cited here. Blur Studio’s debut claim is not itself confirmation of a renewal.
