Shadow Realm Rune [5] is a consumable in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree that grants 17,500 runes when used. Gamer Guides lists four places to find it in the Realm of Shadow; its directions are useful leads, but have not been independently verified here. Gamer Guides and Eldenpedia report the same rune value.
What Shadow Realm Rune [5] does
Using the item adds 17,500 runes. It is an expansion item: Eldenpedia categorizes it as a Tool, while Gamer Guides lists it in its tools and runes database. The in-game description reproduced by both databases reads: “Golden remnants of the grace bestowed upon those who fell in the realm of shadow. Use to gain 17500 runes. In a long-forgotten place where none would tread, the light of grace quietly grew ever more brilliant.”
Both databases list an inventory limit of 99 held and 600 stored.
Where to find Shadow Realm Rune [5]
Gamer Guides lists four locations in the Realm of Shadow. Its descriptions are presented as leads rather than independently verified directions.

- Underground area: Look for the item on a corpse in an underground area; the guide does not provide more specific directions for this entry.
