Gather information as you investigate
Approach a case as a process of collecting and assessing information rather than following a guaranteed checklist. The available official description does not establish an exhaustive set of evidence types or a universal sequence of steps, so the details of an investigation should not be treated as identical in every case.
Use the investigation board to connect what you find
The Steam listing describes storing information on an investigation board and linking evidence together while piecing a case together. Use the board as your working space for organizing what you learn and noticing relationships between pieces of information. The description supports that central organizing role, but it does not document every board function or guarantee that one particular link will solve a case.

The game is presented as a sandbox, not a step-by-step procedural guide. Let the information you gather shape where you investigate next, and use the board to keep your developing picture of the case coherent. Avoid assuming that a single evidence type, route, or fixed sequence applies to every murder.
Release status and platforms
In a post dated September 26, 2024, developer Cole Jefferies announced the 1.0 release, writing, “Today marks our official transition out of early access and into, 1.0.” The same announcement said the game was then available on Steam, GOG, Epic, Xbox, and PlayStation. What is known about updates?
A developer update published August 10, 2026 discusses a patch in progress and possible graphics-pipeline work involving Unity’s High Definition Render Pipeline. The update describes a preference to make a new version look as good as the older HDRP version before making it the default; it does not confirm that the proposed change shipped. Check the developer news page for later announcements before relying on an update’s status.
