What can Pascal give you for a scallop?
A secondary explainer says Pascal’s exchange can yield Mermaid DIY recipes or pearls. That makes accepting a sensible choice if you are pursuing Mermaid content, but treat those items as possible rewards rather than a promise of a particular result. CyberPost’s March 24, 2025 guide describes the exchange.
Nintendo independently confirms the Mermaid connection in its update history: it records a fix for an issue that prevented players from receiving the Mermaid fence recipe from Pascal. That supports the link between Pascal and Mermaid recipes, but does not document every exchange outcome. Nintendo’s update history lists Ver. 3.0.3, released April 29, 2026, as its latest update in the reviewed entry.
